Athlete Select Beta is publicly available for USSSA youth baseball bats. Answer a short set of plain-language questions about your player and the matcher returns the length and target weight that actually fit, the legal specs you can buy, and the exact verified bats that match — with the reasoning in plain English.
What is deliberately in the build: season-versioned USSSA legality including age-group drop restrictions, a documented v1 sizing heuristic, exact-variant product records (brand, family, model year, certification, drop, length), a Keep Current Bat outcome that earns us nothing, and honest “we don’t know” states instead of guesses.
What is not in the build yet: connected retailer pricing. Until a verified feed is live, no price or availability is shown for any bat. Email delivery is also not switched on, so signup is early access only.
Beta means the matching rules are frozen except for genuine defects, legality changes and exact-variant corrections — and that your feedback is the fastest way to get something fixed.
